For more than a decade, the University of Minnesota’s State Fair Research Building has connected people with world-class research at the Minnesota State Fair. By inviting fairgoers to participate directly in studies, we transform curiosity into discovery—advancing knowledge while building public trust in research.
This is one of the gems of the University. Not only does it support the U’s research endeavor, it provides an opportunity for the people of Minnesota to reach out and touch the University in a unique way. The people-to-people aspect of the building serves to humanize the University’s research as well as the institution itself.
