The University of Minnesota’s State Fair Research Building is a public-facing research space at the Minnesota State Fair that connects researchers directly with the public through in-person engagement and participation in research. By bringing research into a familiar, welcoming setting, the program advances the University’s land-grant mission by expanding public access to research, fostering trust and learning, and strengthening reciprocal relationships between the University and communities across the state.
